We are proud to have been part of London International Disputes Week 2026, with our Partner Benjamin Wells speaking at two panel sessions during the week.
Hosted by BCLP, this high-level panel brought together leading international and regional practitioners to discuss the latest developments in litigation, arbitration and enforcement in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Benjamin spoke on recent investment arbitration awards involving Kazakhstan, examining emerging trends and their implications for practitioners and investors in the region.
Co-hosted by Barnes Law Associates and 4-5 Gray's Inn Square, this expert panel examined the applicability of arbitration and governing law clauses to ancillary agreements and sanctions as a defence to payment obligations — two issues of growing complexity in international disputes practice.
LIDW 2026 brought together the best of the international disputes community and we were delighted to contribute to the conversation. Congratulations to all the organisers across both events.
